My name is Rafael and I am monk. My opinion is that King John is guilty, he is guilty because
he raised taxes without first consulting any of the lords. That was illegal and an unkind thing to do.
I believe that both sides will fight both strongly and in a smart manor. The king will end up guilty and be punished for his crimes. My prop will be a bedsheet worn like the monks.

I am Pinocchio, a peasant. I am against King John and the things he has done. King has done nothing good, he raised the taxes, he has treated everyone very unfairly and it shows. Even though he has a lot of power he does not use it positively. I think during the trial there will be many good debates because I think that everyone will have good reasoning for what they think about the King. For my prop, I plan to bring in a basket to carry around with some of the different types of crops I collect.

I am Baron Van Squidward, a noble. I am against King John. King John kept raising the taxes but to make problems worse he raised taxes without the nobles knowing which is against the law in England. He promised that he wouldn’t do that again but King John has some problems with keeping promises and before we knew it he raised taxes again. I expect to see very good arguments on both sides of the trial but think that he is going to be pledged guilty. I plan on wearing something nice because I own much land and am below the king.

I am the Fresh Prince of Bel Air. I am all against the King in this trial. I think that King John is making bad decisions and we, the barons, could be stronger and wiser united than the King. During the trial, I expect to see an obvious winner very quickly. King John has done so many unlawful things that I doubt that he can be easily defended! I just hope that justice will be done. As my prop, I will wear my crown to show that I am a powerful, and wealthy, prince.

I’m Rapunzel a ordinary serf under the order of Sir Baron Van Squidward, my lord. I’m strongly against King John, I believe he is a poor ruler that should be punished for raising the taxes and not excepting Stephen Langston as Archbishop and then making those ridiculous laws about christening an marriage. I think he is responsible for more than he is accused of even. I feel he is a horrible leader. The outcome of the trial is obvious, King John will be guilty of his crimes. I do expect all people to testify there points very thoroughly and well to prove their points. Since I am a serf and work on the fields I will be dirty, thats just the way it works I will carry the beans that I plant in the fields and will be wearing tattered clothing. I’m looking forward to our trial.

I am Keeper John, a peasant, and I believe that King John is guilty. He only looks out for his own benefit and breaks the law, while any good king should do the opposite. Some say he is trying to expand the English borders, but he is just taking away our protection. During the trial, I expect that the prosecution will win because King John has done things that no one who should be the king of England would. My prop will be a basket because it represents the crops we harvest.

I am the Court Jester. I against the king. i am a witness and my strongest point CJ: I tolerate this because i am scared that i wont be able to live a better life outside the kingdom.
I expect to see the king being punished by his previous actions
A jester hat

My name is Paul, I am a peasant fighting against the King. My best evidence to fight against the King is: The King made many more enemies when he refused to accept the appointment of Stephen Langton as Archbishop of Canterbury. By doing so, John challenged the authority of Pope Innocent III in Rome, who punished John by excommunication. John responded by by taxing the Church in England, confiscating lands and forcing many priests to leave their parishes. I plan to bring beat up clothes as my prop for this event.

Hello my name is Donatello, a monk from England. My opinion of King John is guilty of breaking the Magna Carta demand number 60. It states that no one is above the law including the king. I expect to see evidence that will lead to the conviction of King John. I also expect to see witnesses stating how he is guilty. I plan to bring in a bible during the trial. The bible represents truth. I”m a monk who has dedicated my life to God and the truth.

I am gavin de granville,a knight. I am against King John and all the bad things he has done. He has used the money to hire merchants instead of paying his great knights that protect the people and fight in the great battles .I suspect to see the other reasons why the king is bad and also the arguing points of why he is not so bad to prove me wrong. I plan on bringing cape for a knight.A knight wears a cape as a part of their suit so that is what I will wear.

I am Sir Ferb, a knight against King John. My best speaking point I will be using: If he was in total control, nobody elses opinion would matter. On the day of the trial, I plan on seeing King John going to jail. And for my prop I am going to be bringing a shield.

I am Lord Farquar. I believe King John is a horrible king. Us nobles work so hard for him everyday. We run the villages in his land, and the way he rewards us is raising our taxes. Raising our taxes is against the law yet he still does. well i am excited for the trial. Since I am a lord I will be wearing nice clothing for this occasion.
